I've learned a lot about social media marketing, managing multiple platforms, and doing it on a budget from my experience as a professional performer and as an event organizer. I find it fascinating to research marketing and social media strategies and keep up with the latest trends. That's not everyone's cup of tea, though! A social media manager is someone who manages your social media accounts. It can be someone who does it all for you or someone who does pieces of that work so that you have more time to focus on the things you're passionate about.

Keep in mind that I may be able to help you, even if you're not a performer. If you're a one-person operation or a small business, then a lot of the strategies I've spent years learning through research and first-hand experience will translate. Albeit slightly differently depending on your industry.

Also, if it helps to know, I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and a gradate degree in literacy education. I arrived at the moment where I became a professional fire performer and dancer with a basket full of useful skills: copy writing, marketing, time management, project organization, graphic design, website design, and some video editing and photography.
